Project Roles

Project controlling

As Project Controllers for the project steering committee, we continuously assess the organisational situation and progress of the project, as well as its cost and risk situation. We assess escalations and propose corrective measures if necessary.

Project management

As Project Managers, we draw up the project manual and take on the technical management of the project together with internal project management (which manages the customer's human resources).

Coaching support

In the Coaching Support role, we serve as assistants to internal project management on an on-demand basis. We support internal project management on questions regarding project methodology and technical issues, as well as during rolling planning and setting of priorities.

Quality management

As QA Managers, we create the QA manual for the project. In cooperation with project management, we determine test items, test criteria, test methods and suitable testers. We plan, manage and document the project-specific QA management at the project level.

Quality tester

As Quality Testers, we support the definition of test criteria and test methods for specific test items. We test items and document the results (list of findings) for the attention of the QA management.

Project phases

Analysis of starting position

The course set in the project preparation phase is paramount. A clear starting point, identified stakeholders, specific goals and clear boundaries must be carried over to a project that has been methodically defined.

Process analysis

Digital transformation entails the targeted change of numerous processes. We analyse the initial situation and the goals of the process transformation.

Needs Analysis/Specification

We summarise requirements regarding architecture, technology, security and organisation in your specification.

Design

In a product-neutral design, we outline the solution as the basis for assessing solution modules (services, HW/SW) and partners.

Sourcing/Cloud analysis

Based on the principles of ICT sourcing strategy, we weigh the aspects of operation, cost-effectiveness, and security to determine the internal (our own) vs external (outsourcing) workload. The solution concept is supplemented with the knowledge of sourcing analysis.

Operational concept

With the operational concept, we supplement the solution concept with the organisational and process engineering features of the solution operation. This means that operational aspects can be grasped and planned from an organisational, financial, and security standpoint.

Migration concept

Digital transformation changes the company's processes and data structure. Depending on the complexity of the project, we break down the transformation into defined migration steps as the basis for success monitoring, quality assurance, and preventive fallback scenarios.

Evaluation

Based on the preliminary work, we support you in the preparation and handling of a competitive procurement process (under private or public law requirements).

Contracting

Based on our experience and technical know-how, we assist you during contract negotiations with potential partners.
