Our client, active throughout Switzerland, offers real estate services for individuals and businesses through a network of over 40 branches. Previously, the various branches were equipped with telephone systems from multiple manufacturers.
After a study conducted by H+S to analyse various market solutions, the client decided to migrate and consolidate its telephone systems onto Microsoft Teams. This transition aimed to improve the fluidity of internal communication, optimise costs and simplify infrastructure management.
H+S contributed its project management expertise and migration support to facilitate this transformation, which involved porting and consolidating over 150 historical phone number ranges. H+S worked closely with the client and the migration service provider to assist employees in adopting the new tools and managing the migration process. Following the completion of the various migrations, H+S also supported the client in evaluating different solutions for managing incoming calls to the main branch numbers.

Schaffhausen Hospitals

The Schaffhausen hospitals include the regional hospital including rehabilitation and transitional care, the Breitenau psychiatric centre, the psychiatric service for children and young people, the Posthof radiology and cardiology practices in Neuhausen and the Schaffhausen centre neurology practice. Every day, 1700 employees take care of the health of more than 100,000 inhabitants of the canton of Schaffhausen and the neighbouring regions.
The project for the procurement of infusion technology means that soon the infusion pumps currently used in all departments of the hospital will be replaced by modern and seamlessly integrated systems.

Protection & Rescue Zurich

Protection & Rescue Zurich (SRZ) is the umbrella organisation for the fire brigade, the ambulance service (in the cantons of Zurich, Zug, Schaffhausen and Schwyz), civil defence, the operations control centre and the fire authority of the city of Zurich. Zurich Airport's rescue organisations with their areas of operation and services are also a part of this. This makes SRZ the largest civil rescue organisation in Switzerland. Operations are controlled centrally by the Operations Control System (ELS) which is directly connected to a large number of subsystems.
In a fundamental data hub concept, H+S has developed the ideal architecture for SRZ with regard to interoperability. This was deemed practicable in the course of the development process, and the economic viability of various use cases was analysed. With this foundation work in place, SRZ can plan today what users will need tomorrow. This is an important prerequisite for the preparation of tender documents and management of the project portfolio.
GZO Spital Wetzikon

The Wetzikon GZO hospital is renewing its monitoring and telemetry services. In conjunction with the recent modernisation of the network infrastructure, the new solutions are intended to further improve the digitisation of treatment processes and the consistency of the data. In a total of 15 clinics and outpatient centres, monitoring services are being renewed and integrated into the ICT application architecture. In the future, telemetry data will be transmitted via a modernised network solution.

Association Sécurité Riviera

ASR (Association Sécurité Riviera) is a regional organisation for public security. It is responsible for local security in the nine partner municipalities covering the operation area.
ASR combines four rescue services: ambulance, police, civil protection, fire brigade.
ASR has a central telephone system that serves several buildings in the Riviera region. This platform has reached the end of its life cycle and is no longer supported by the manufacturer. For this reason, ASR has decided to initiate a project to select a new telecommunications solution to offer its employees appropriate tools to improve working conditions and efficiency for a better service to the population.

ZID City of Lucerne

The Central Computer Science Services (ZID) is the competence centre for computer science and telecommunications of the city of Lucerne. On behalf of the city council, ZID ensures IT operation and IT security for the city administration, primary schools and third-party customers from the public sector. ZID operates its IT services in two modern data centres. As a central procurement body for all hardware and software as well as IT services, ZID and its customers ensure the economical and requirements-oriented use of IT systems and applications.
Combined with the modernisation of the ICT architecture, the complex task is to create a new zone concept for the network integration of the data centre solution. Zoning supports, among other things, the important aspects of network security and bandwidth management. The zone concept must also be coordinated with a continuous interaction with the virtualisation concepts for servers, storage and end devices (VDI) as well as a seamless and secure integration into external cloud services. The resulting zone concept must also take into account operational conceptual aspects and the use of suitable management tools for highly automated administration.
H+S supports the internal departments in the development of the new network zone concept in the data centers as the basis for the further development steps of the network solution of the city of Lucerne.

Spitalzentrum Biel (SZB) is the public central hospital for the population of the Biel - Seeland - Bern Jura region. As an acute hospital, the SZB offers the entire range of extended medical care. As an employer, the SZB has around 1700 employees in over 40 professions.
The Digital Office of the SZB provides IT services for various stakeholders in the healthcare system in the city of Biel. SZB leases fibre optic connections to an operator. New locations must be connected. The SZB engages H+S to provide a study to determine the best connection strategy.
After assessing the needs, H+S evaluated the connection options and available technologies from 2 providers. The study led to the identification of a new redundant and more secure topology, as well as financial and contractual optimisation opportunities; opportunities that have been implemented.

Evaluation of a new PDMS solution

The GZO Wetzikon is an acute care hospital that is anchored in its local population and internationally networked. The hospital offers all patients high-quality and holistic medical care around the clock.
In connection with the new building project, those responsible at GZO Wetzikon decided to replace the current PDMS solution with a new product. At the same time, areas whose processes are not fully digitally supported today should benefit from the new PDMS. With the aim of further developing the degree of digitisation and integration with the surrounding systems, H + S was given the lead task of designing and evaluating a new PDMS solution.
Uster Hospital

As a primary care provider for the Upper Glattal and Zurich Oberland regions, the Uster Acute Hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, personal support and holistic care. With departments for surgery, medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, radiology and anesthesia, the Uster hospital offers a wide range of healthcare services. There are more than 1200 employees who work here for the well-being of patients. Many processes are being reviewed and redesigned in preparation for the new building project, currently in the planning stage. This also concerns the implementation of communication solutions (telephones, conferencing, messaging, team collaboration, alarms, tracking, etc.). H+S is supporting the internal IT and technical departments in conducting a holistic analysis and assessment of the current situation, as well as in the development of the necessary project programme.
The City of Vevey

Vevey is a town in Switzerland in the canton of Vaud, on the north shore of Lake Geneva. The sixth most-populous city in the canton (almost 20,000 people), it is the seat of the Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut District. Since 2012, Vevey has used a dedicated fibre optic infrastructure based on a lease/service contract, enabling more than 30 municipal buildings to be connected.
This infrastructure provides the city with a private network that conveys voice, data and video communications.
As this contact was about to reach its term, at the beginning of 2021 the City of Vevey's IT Service requested H+S, first, to study the relevance of this service in relation to other available technologies and, second, to renegotiate the entire service contract. The result led to an extension of this contract for an additional 5 years with a new master contract and optimisation of the financial charges.
LVMH Group, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy - Modernisation of the workplace.

LVMH is an international group of 75 brands which has 150,000 employees and operates worldwide, with a variety of activities located in around 100 countries. In the second half of 2020 LVMH launched a project to modernise its workspaces and collaboration tools. LVMH thus wanted to streamline and improve the performance of communications within its group, at all levels:
LVMH engaged H+S to provide the following services: drafting of "Cloud Telephony" specifications, analysis of the offers received, carrying out a POC (Proof of Concept) with two competing solutions, as well as support during the negotiation/contracting phase.
The solution adopted Microsoft Office 365, Teams & Telephony will help to modernise the workplace.
City of Muttenz

Muttenz is an up-and-coming town on the outskirts of Basel with around 17,000 inhabitants. With over 13,000 jobs, Muttenz is an important centre for employment and business in the Canton of BL. At the same time, Muttenz is also a regional centre for education and training: from kindergarten to university of applied sciences, virtually all educational institutions are represented. H+S supported the relevant departments of the city of Muttenz in a project to fully outsource the city's ICT services. The focus was on the drafting of the contract, the design of the SLAs and the final contract negotiation.
Update of the IT strategy

With the establishment of Viva Luzern AG in 2015, the city of Lucerne spun off its formerly city-run care homes and senior residences into an independent company. With around 830 residents in five centres for the elderly, Viva Luzern AG is the leading provider of residential and care services for the elderly in Central Switzerland.
Based on the tried and tested H + S methodology, Viva Luzern's first ICT strategy was developed in 2017. The resulting implementation projects have since been tackled, making it necessary to update the ICT strategy. H + S was in turn commissioned with this work, which also had a revised project roadmap as its goal. Since the H + S methodology is structured in such a way that an update is easily feasible, the work could be implemented very efficiently.
Regional Care Center Baden RPB

As one of the largest care centers in the Canton of Aargau, with 300 residents and around 500 employees, the Regional Care Center Baden RPB has various areas of expertise and offers professional care and support for people of all ages. As part of the current new building project, H+S supported the builder in designing and conceiving future communication solutions. In cooperation with the RPB specialist departments and the contracted professional planners, we have developed innovative concepts for modern communication solutions that provide optimal and cost-effective support for the services offered by the RPB specialist departments (care, nursing, medicine, hotel business and infrastructure).

The BGV is the competence centre in the canton of Basel-Landschaft in the areas of prevention, fire brigade, and insurance for buildings and properties. As such, it is a major contributor to the safety of people in the canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The BGM is renewing its communication platform for internal communication and diverse communication with customers and partners. H + S supports the internal specialist departments in developing a coordinated communication concept that identifies the various communication channels and guides their future use and instrumentation. The concept includes the modernisation of telephony and the introduction of team and collaboration functions, and serves as the basis for the subsequent evaluation of the solution.

The Lindenhof Group is an important cornerstone of Berne's health care. It is one of the leading privately sponsored list hospitals in the country. In their three hospitals Engeried, Lindenhof and Sonnenhof, in addition to comprehensive interdisciplinary basic care, a spectrum of specialised and highly specialised medicine is offered.
As an important element of its digitization strategy, the Lindenhof Group introduces B2B / B2C portal services for referrers and patients. H + S was commissioned by LHG as the overall project manager to set up appropriate B2B / B2C portal services for e-registration, e-appointment, e-bid and e-check-in and to carry out a pilot operation with representative use cases and participants. Within this project, existing work processes are significantly redesigned and automated, following the trend of digital transformation.

Graubünden University of Applied Sciences (FHGR) is an innovative and entrepreneurial university of applied sciences with over 2,000 students. It educates responsible specialists and managers. The Graubünden University of Applied Sciences offers bachelor's, master's and advanced training courses in architecture, civil engineering, digital science, management, mobile robotics, multimedia production, photonics, service design and tourism. The approximately 1,700 students use modern, digital instruments and media as part of their studies.
Based on the results, H + S conducts the market evaluation under requirements of public procurement law, and supports the contract phase for both projects.
Project management for the introduction of HIS, universal archive and PACS

The Lower Engadine health center is taking an innovative path and brings together important regional providers in the areas of health care, care, elderly care and wellness under one roof.
The region has done pioneering work with the CSEB. Both in the canton of Graubünden and beyond the national borders, it is considered a role model. The services of the regional hospital, the emergency services, the rehabilitation clinic, the Spitex, the care groups, the nursing homes and the Bogn Engiadina are coordinated optimally.
In summer 2018, H + S developed an ICT strategy for the entire company (acute hospital, rehabilitation, long-term care) for the CSEB, as the basis for replacing the existing HIS and PACS solutions, as well as for a new electronic universal archive. After the successful completion of the evaluation of these solutions in 2019 under the direction of H + S, H + S is currently assisting with these projects as project controller until they are handed off successfully.

Schwyz Hospital is privately owned by the Schwyz Hospital Company. As an emergency care hospital, it has a 24-hour, modernly designed and equipped interdisciplinary emergency ward with a team of doctors and nursing staff that is always available. Besides the basic care, it offers many additional services from attending and consultant doctors. Schwyz Hospital has long since changed from a regional hospital to an important health centre where complex cases are treated by excellently trained medical and nursing teams.

The Psychiatric University Clinic Zurich ensures psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care for residents in the city and in the greater Zurich area. The range of services includes the treatment of mental illnesses from cradle to grave. As a university clinic, it is also committed to teaching and research and is very well networked internationally.
H + S was commissioned to develop a concept to take into account various medical and administrative needs for electronic archiving. Based on this concept, the solution was evaluated by H + S and successfully completed. H + S was then commissioned to carry out project management for implementing the e-archive.

With around 900 residents in five care homes for the elderly, Viva Luzern AG is the leading provider of long-term care in Central Switzerland. Viva Luzern employs around 1200 people who are committed to high-quality care and support and ensure a homely atmosphere.
In order to improve independence, flexibility and efficiency, Viva Luzern has decided to do payroll accounting internally in the future. H + S was commissioned to lead the project and developed the catalogue of requirements for evaluation and integration into the existing IT architecture. As a university hospital, the UPD also makes a significant contribution to special psychiatric care as well as to training, further education, teaching and research.

Developing the IT Organisation at Viva Luzern

With the establishment of Viva Luzern AG in 2015, the city of Lucerne spun off its formerly city-run care homes and senior residences into an independent company.
This resulted in the need to develop and put into operation a separate IT organisation and management system. With the methodological support of H+S Kommunikation AG, the project team developed a professional IT organisation to provide efficient support to the new company's IT users. In addition to defining the necessary operational processes, roles and committees, the project also reorganised project processes and responsibilities. A new overarching management structure was also introduced once the new IT management was implemented. This created efficiencies that allow professional management of service providers and application providers and the development of underlying contracts to anchor the IT strategy and data protection into the new company's operations.
Total renewal of communication solutions at the See-Spital

The See-Spital has decided to remove and standardise the various outdated telephony solutions at the Kilchberg and Horgen sites. The removal was strategically prepared with the support of H+S Kommunikation AG, in order to implement the various sub-projects on time and in a coordinated manner. Based on this plan, the renewal of the UCT-cabling and the network was designed and implemented with the support of H+S Kommunikation. This was combined with the comprehensive expansion of the wireless network for data and voice communications.
Parallel to these activities, a new inter-site telephony solution was evaluated and arrangements made for its introduction and for migration. The implementation of the new IP telephony was successfully completed on schedule and on budget. H+S Kommunikation AG was responsible for these phases in terms of project management.

Luzerner Psychiatrie (lups) operates at various locations in the canton of Lucerne and is well connected. The company has a modern outpatient and residential treatment service with a contemporary infrastructure. The treatment spectrum includes children and adolescents through to adult psychiatry. lups' services are also available in adjacent hospital regions. Over 1,000 employees provide services for the benefit of patients. Luzerner Psychiatrie also campaigns for young people. Every year it trains around 80 young people in various professions.
